Indicrest Shipping & Delivery Policy

Comprehensive information on how we process, ship, and deliver Indicrest orders - domestic and international, including customs, duties, tracking, and support.

INDICREST™ SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

At Cosmetics & Co. (operating as Indicrest™) we aim to deliver your purchases quickly, safely, and transparently. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains our order processing, shipping methods, estimated delivery timelines, fees, customs & import procedures, loss or damage handling, and customer responsibilities. This policy applies to domestic (India) and international orders placed at www.indicrest.shop.


1. PROCESSING & FULFILMENT TIMES

Orders are normally processed within 1 - 2 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or national public holidays in India will be processed the next business day. Custom, pre-order, or made-to-order items may require longer processing times; any estimated lead times will be displayed at checkout and in the order confirmation email.

If we anticipate a delay in processing your order, we will notify you via email with an updated timeline and reason for the delay.

2. SHIPPING COVERAGE

We ship to:

  • Domestic (India): Most pin codes across India served by our courier partners.
  • International: Indicrest ships to most countries worldwide via our international logistics partners. However, some countries or regions may be restricted due to local regulations, courier limitations, sanctions, or policy restrictions.

If an order cannot be shipped to your address for any reason, we will notify you and cancel the affected items with a full refund.

3. SHIPPING METHODS & ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMELINES

Available shipping methods are displayed at checkout and may vary by destination, order weight, and product type.

Domestic (India) — estimated timelines after dispatch:

  • Standard Shipping: 3 - 7 business days
  • Express Shipping: 1 - 3 business days (available for eligible pin codes)

International — estimated timelines after dispatch:

  • Standard International: 7 - 21 business days (varies by country and customs processing)
  • Express International: 5 - 10 business days (where available)

Important: These timelines are estimates only and may be impacted by customs clearance, local carrier operations, weather, public holidays, high seasonal demand, or regulatory inspections in the destination country.

4. SHIPPING CHARGES & FREE SHIPPING

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the shipping method, destination, weight, and parcel dimensions.

  • Domestic (India): Free shipping on orders above ₹999 (before taxes and after discounts). Standard fee of ₹70 applies to orders below ₹999. Additional surcharges may apply for bulky or oversized items and will be displayed at checkout.
  • International: Costs vary by country and shipping method; shipping cost is shown at checkout prior to payment.

Any promotional or free-shipping offers will be displayed on the website and applied automatically at checkout where eligible.

5. IMPORT CLEARANCE, CUSTOMS & DUTIES

When shipping internationally, shipments may be subject to import restrictions, customs inspections, duties, taxes, and fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are outside Indicrest’s control in most cases and are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise noted at checkout.

Are there customs or import charges? Yes — depending on your country, customs duties, VAT/GST, and other import fees may apply.

Who pays these charges? By default, the recipient (customer) is responsible for all customs duties and import fees unless we expressly offer and confirm a Delivered-Duty-Paid (DDP) option for your country at checkout.

Delivered-Duty-Paid (DDP) option: For some destinations we may offer DDP pricing where duties and local taxes are calculated and collected at checkout so nothing additional is due on delivery. When DDP is available it will be clearly indicated at checkout and the collected amount will be shown as part of your order total.

How are import fees calculated? Customs authorities calculate fees using the declared value, product classification (HS code), and local tariff and tax rules. When possible, we (or our billing partner) will estimate duties at checkout; however if an estimate is not available, the carrier or customs authority may charge duties upon arrival.

Are customs fees refundable? Customs duties and import fees paid to customs or the carrier are generally non-refundable. These amounts are administered by the destination country’s customs office and are not controlled by Indicrest. If you later return the product, customs duties already paid to the destination country typically cannot be reimbursed by customs authorities, though we will review exceptional cases in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

Customs documentation: We provide required customs documentation, including commercial invoices and product descriptions, to facilitate clearance. Accurate contact and address details help prevent delays — please double-check your shipping address at checkout.

6. HANDLING & DELIVERY RESPONSIBILITIES

Indicrest assigns delivery to our courier partners who are responsible for final-mile delivery. During international transit, customs clearance is performed by the destination country’s customs authority or a customs broker appointed by the carrier.

If the package shows visible external damage at the time of delivery, we recommend refusing delivery and asking the courier to return the shipment — this preserves evidence for carrier investigations and insurance claims. If you accept delivery and later discover damaged contents, contact us immediately with photos (see Section 9).

Minor scuffs or cosmetic imperfections to packaging are not automatically considered product damage. Please inspect the product inside and take photographs before contacting support.

7. TRACKING YOUR ORDER

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email or SMS containing a tracking number and link. Tracking information may take up to 24 - 48 hours to appear on the carrier’s website.

If tracking is unavailable or incomplete, our support team will provide status updates via email or live chat.

8. PARTIAL SHIPMENTS

Items from a single order may be shipped separately if products are sourced from different warehouses or suppliers. When partial shipments occur, you will receive separate tracking numbers for each parcel at no extra shipping charge (unless stated otherwise at checkout).

9. LOST, DELAYED OR DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

Delays: If your order is delayed beyond the estimated delivery window, please contact support with your order number and tracking details so we can investigate with the carrier.

Lost packages: If the carrier confirms a shipment is lost after investigation, we will arrange a replacement or refund in line with our Refund & Return Policy and carrier terms.

Damaged items: Report any damaged product within 48 hours of delivery by emailing support with your order number and clear photos of the outer packaging and damaged item(s). We will open an investigation with the carrier and arrange a replacement or refund if carrier liability is established.

Note: Indicrest is not responsible for delays or charges resulting from customs inspections or actions taken by local authorities.

10. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete. Indicrest is not responsible for failed delivery or returns to sender caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses entered by customers. If a package is returned due to address issues, additional reshipment charges may apply — we will contact you to confirm whether you prefer reshipment (at your cost) or a refund (minus shipping and handling fees paid by Indicrest).

11. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CUSTOMS FEES

For full details on returns and refunds, please see our Refund & Return Policy. Key points relating to shipping and customs:

  • If an item is cancelled by Indicrest due to import restrictions, we will refund the product price and any shipping fees we collected. Customs duties already paid directly to customs by the customer are generally not refundable by Indicrest.
  • If you return an item, return shipping costs and any duties associated with the original import may not be refundable. We will handle refunds for the product price per our Returns Policy; customs duties are administered by destination tax authorities.

12. SPECIAL REQUESTS & BULK SHIPMENTS

If you require expedited shipping, special handling, or a corporate/bulk shipment, contact support before placing your order. We will advise availability, costs, and lead times. Some special services may require additional documentation or customs brokerage arrangements and may incur extra fees.

13. COMMUNICATION & UPDATES

We notify customers at key stages: order confirmation, dispatch, out-for-delivery, and delivery confirmation. For exceptions such as customs holds or address issues we will contact you via email. You may also use live chat during support hours for shipment queries.

We aim to acknowledge shipping-related queries within 48 hours and to resolve most routine shipping issues within 15 - 30 days, depending on carrier investigations and customs procedures.
